The lost wax cast Mesa Verde belt buckle is number two in the 2003 annual edition. It's a 1" (25mm) wide belt buckle that works well on a 1 3/8" (35mm) or wider, ranger belt, or on a straight or tapered strap.

The scollwork sections are overlayed on a plain background which reminded us of flat-topped mesas. An even higher, "crown-leaf" design on the edge of the buckle helps to give it a very sculpted look. The horizontal leaves help balance the design.
