Sterling Silver Chickasaw 3-piece Ranger Belt Buckle Set, #2004-3, shown on Straight Strap
The 3-piece lost wax cast Chickasaw "Bobwhite Quail" set is the third, and last, in the 2004 annual edition. This large 1" (25mm) wide ranger belt buckle set works well on any style strap. The Chickasaw is named for the National Recreation Area of the same name in Southern Oklahoma.
The design is detailed, yet inspired by Japanese artwork in its stylization and use of negative space. The covey of seven Quail is hidden among the scrolls and leaves, as the dog on the tip scares them up. The keeper and the tip have checkered sections of silver-overlay on the sides, repeating the gun-like checkered sections on either side of the belt buckle.
