Adirondack "Mallard" Belt Buckle in Sterling Silver only

The lost wax cast Adirondack "Mallard" belt buckle is the fourth of the 2006 annual edition. It was added to the edition in 2008 by popular demand. There is only one buckle style in this edition, named for the Adirondack State Park in New York State located in the mountains by the same name. The other available centerpieces are Woodcock, Quail, and Turkey.

The belt buckle has a 1" (25mm) wide opening and is assembled from 5 pieces of silver (and gold). The two raised scroll-work sections on the front are silver plates that are attached to the silver buckle with tiny jewelry screws, as is the engraved backplate. The oval with the mallard is sandwiched between the body of the buckle and the backplate.

All the parts to the buckle are cast in solid sterling silver (and 14K gold) from Neil's original hand engraved masters. It is hand finished and hand signed by the artisan. This is truly a unique buckle, very reminiscent of a classic, engraved shotgun.

The Adirondack "Mallard" belt buckle is available in Solid Sterling Silver with a 14K Gold Mallard, or in Solid Sterling Silver only. Overall measurements are 1 15/16" high, and 2 1/2" long.
