Neil is very pleased to have had an opportunity to engrave another buckle set drawing purely on his own ideas and artistry this past winter. This buckle set shows clearly his recent influences from the seminar with Winston Churchill last fall (2007).
The buckle set is made in solid sterling silver with 18K rose gold overlay on the buckle, 24K gold line-inlay on all three pieces, and finally some pure silver line-inlay into the rose gold on the buckle. This set has no hatching and cross-hatching, the background is carved out and recessed instead. The design is very floral with a baroque flair. Neil engraved it while listening to our son, Espen, practicing "Fur Elise" on the piano. So, the name seemed appropriate for more than one reason.
"Fur Elise" is an exceptionally attractive buckle set that will be nicely complemented by any style belt strap. The buckle opening is 7/8" and it does require a custom belt strap. You may check out our custom straps at the link below.
