This 3/4" set for Guy, depicts a quail hunting scene with his hunting dog, Drake. It is done in sterling silver with 18K overlay. The scrollwork on the buckle, above and below the dog, is raised giving it more body, with a "step" next to the edge of the opening for the belt strap. The edge of the buckle has a border that continues through the sides of the keepers to the edge of the tip.
The whole set has the classic gun-style checkering, and the hatched and cross-hatched background curves beautifully around the scrolls.
