This Dragonfly belt buckle set for Ryan is a sizable departure from Neil's usual style, and as such it took a while to complete. But he who waits... The main body of the buckle and keeper is sterling silver, with damascus steel secured by tiny screws on the buckle and bezel-set on the keeper. The tip is layered, with the damascus set inside a slot in the silver behind the silver and gold dragonfly. The parts are then secured with a screw that creates the dragonfly's eyes. The buckle and the tip have 24K gold line-inlay, and the dragonfly is fabricated from thin, engraved silver wings and a gold body.

The damascus steel is acid-etched, creating a rippling effect as the softer layers of the steel are eaten away by the acid. The rest of the buckle set has a brushed finish.
