This engraved buckle set is essentially like the Fly-Fishing buckle set from 2003. Neil has fun playing with the direction and feeling of the scrolls and leaves to express the movement of water from the tip to the buckle. The scrolls around the trout create a "splash", and there is an impression of swirling backwater behind the fisherman, where the silver is also raised in order to protect the softer 24K gold. The mirrored design on the side of the keepers are abstracted flies. The trout is overlaid 18K Pink (Rose) Gold, while the fisherman, and the lines and fishing-pole, are inlaid 24K Yellow Gold.
