Trophy Style Belt Buckle, "Wall Street"

This custom engraved buckle was conceived by Nelson. He wanted a buckle with the classic Wall Street symbol of the fighting bull (-market) and bear (-market), and he specifically requested the symbols and numbers on the ticker tape.

Neil had fun working out the composition, which centers on, and radiates from, the "BSC" on the ticker tape. The tape itself is actually a modified classic ribbon design, which is a popular element in Victorian floral design. The bull and bear are done in bulino-style engraving, and the animals and their "pedestal" are high relief. Besides the traditional Acanthus scrollwork, Neil also used Eucalyptus leaves, which is commonly used on paper currency. The scrollwork is bank-note style.

Neil refers to this solid 18K Gold buckle as the 'ultimate trophy buckle'.
