This is a Mesabi buckle set. It is similar to the Baja, but it's a bit heavier and it has a less "western" shape. The design is rather complex with a lot of elements on the tip and the buckle, and two distinct "directional" flows on the buckle. However, the detail of the 24K gold line-inlay around the perimeter of all four pieces of the set ties it all together, and finishes it off beautifully. It makes a more conservative statement compared to some of the other recent engraved sets, that have a considerable amount of flare. This buckle set on a black strap would be a nice accessory to a board-room suit.
