This is the second Mojave set Neil has done with gold wire inlay. He is really enjoying it... Neil uses 24K gold wire, only, for inlay in silver. In order to do wire inlay, the wire must be softer than the base it goes into. An added bonus is the very yellow color of 24K gold, which shows up beautifully against the silver background. All four pieces of this buckle set are inlaid with gold lines. The scrollwork itself is simply wonderful. As always, the real thing is even more exquisite than the photo.
