This custom hand engraved Mojave belt buckle set was a gift for Mark from his wife. This is another departure from Neil's usual style this year, this design being more bulino style. As Mark enjoys sailing, especially at night, she wanted something depicting that.
The one larger and the two smaller stars at the top of the buckle represent his wife and their two children. On the keepers and tip a squall-line and rain is coming up. Mark's initials, "MG", are inlaid in 24K gold line on the tip, and all four pieces of the belt buckle set have gold line-inlay. The scroll-work on the sides of the keepers is some of Neil's more customary work. A project such as this can be an exciting challenge compared to Neil's usual style, and it turned out beautifully.
