This deceptively simple, yet complex and labor-intensive engraved belt buckle set is the first Taos set Neil has engraved, but there will be likely be more. It was a pleasure to work on and very rewarding. The name is from the 5 roses in the design; on the top and bottom edges of the keepers and on the tip of the tongue.

David wanted a buckle set with a "wallpaper" look, where the whole surface is covered in engraving. This is generally Neil's preferred look, as well. It's about "more is less". The more engraving, the less flashy it is. In this case, David supplied Neil with a photo of a gun with the kind of engraving that he likes. As always, a picture is worth a thousand words.
