This engraved Tabula Rasa Channel Belt Buckle was for Ed. The heavy gauge 18K gold overlay "W" is framed by symmetrical scroll work on the sides and the bottom, and a leaf border on the top. The borders at the top and the bottom are again framed by 24K gold line-inlay on both edges. Depth around the initial is created by the dark horizontal lines that antique to a darker shade than the rest of the buckle. Figures in the design at the center top and bottom mimic the symmetrical shape of the "W".
