Kelly ordered this beautiful engraved leopard buckle for his hunting buddy. The buckle is solid sterling silver with the leopard in solid brass. It's essentially an updated remake of his own "Cape Buffalo" from 2006.

The leopard is sculpted in bas relief in brass rather than engraved. Each spot on his body is deeply recessed in order to be protected from wear and to stay dark as the buckle ages. It is framed by classic scrollwork with checkered borders. The design of the scrollwork works with the lines of the leopard's head and neck, and flows with the shape of the animals. This buckle is fabricated in Neil's classic style of layering metals (see angled close-up above).
